Applicants need at least five years of full-time experience under the supervision of a licensed Master Plumber or Master Fire Suppression Piping Contractor, with at least one year in NYC, or completion of a NY State registered training program with one year of NYC experience. Applications are submitted through DOB NOW: Licensing, requiring documents such as photo ID, Social Security card, DPL1 form, training certificates, notarized affidavits of experience, and Social Security earnings history.
